There are many other many good color combinations possible with
Whisper and Squiggle.
Materials:
1-50 gr. ball of Whisper (here color
9171, Flame )
1-50 gr. ball of Squiggle
(here color 2268, Mango)
1 pair CPY Bamboo Needles, size 15
The entire scarf is knit in garter st (all rows knit).
To knit scarf (all in garter stitch, knit all rows):
Loosely cast on 6 sts with both yarns held together.
Knit 8 rows, inc. 1 st at the beg of each row until you have 14 sts on
needles.
Continue knitting every row (garter st) until you are almost out of yarn,
dec 1 st at the beg of last 8 rows until 6 sts rem. Bind off the last 6
sts loosely.
[Tip: The reason for the inc sts at
beginning and end is to make rounded ends to the scarf instead of the
flared end you get with plain garter st.
Note: the Choo-Choo Sweater
shown under the scarf in this photo is a free pattern
