Easy & Fast to Knit with one ball each of
Whisper and
Mikado Ribbon
Materials:
1-50 gr. ball of Whisper (here #9264- fern print)
and 1-50 gr. ball of Mikado Ribbon (here #2679 - lime)Size 13 -
26" CPY Bamboo circular needles
The entire scarf is knit lengthwise in garter st (all rows knit).
Finished scarf (not counting fringe) is a little over 4 feet long and 3.5
inches wide.
Before Beginning to Knit: Wind fringe - wrap
doubled yarn around the narrow direction of a Video box or similar sized
small book 16 times (8 pairs for each scarf end).
To knit scarf:
Loosely cast on 105 sts with both yarns held together. Work all rows Knit (garter st) until you
run out of yarn, bind
off loosely. [Use size 15 needle to cast off to be sure to work loosely.]
Using a crochet hook, loop 8 pairs of cut yarn evenly on
each end of the scarf to make the fringe.
