Fjord + Kid Merino

Wrist Warmers aka
Fingerless Gloves
Designed and Knit by Sandi Rosner
A very easy to knit, perfect beginner
project.
Finished size: Women's medium (see sizing note below)
Materials: 1 - 50 gr ball Crystal Palace
Fjord (here #4892 "brandy")
1 - 25 gr ball Crystal Palace Kid
Merino (here #9799 "sherbet")
Crystal
Palace Bamboo Needles: Size 7 needles
Gauge: Approx 5 sts =
1" in K2, P2 rib, slightly stretched
Directions: CO 38 sts.
Row 1: * K2, P2, repeat from * to end of row, ending with K2
Row 2: * P2, K2, repeat from * to end of row, ending with P2
Repeat these two rows until piece measures 7" or desired length.
BO loosely.
Sew 1" down from top and 3" up from bottom, leaving the remaining
3" open for thumb. Weave in ends.
Sizing note: If you want to
make these smaller, just reduce the number of stitches in multiples of 4.
For example, instead of 38 sts, CO 30 or 34. If you want to make them longer,
just keep knitting. You'll have plenty of Kid Merino, but may need a second
skein of Fjord to make them elbow length.
